One of our goals here at Hilltop Farm is to help find sport homes for retired race horses. The ex-racers we sell are either ours or those of our clients wanting to give these awesome athletes a new life. Most vet records are available on these horses and we are very honest about old injuires (if any), vices, temperaments, etc. These horses are properly reschooled and properly represented in order to find ideal homes. Please feel comfortable and confident that any ex-racehorse you purchase from us is what we say it is. We will gladly get you in touch with many satisfied customers. Dear customers, please check with your trainer in regards to commissions for helping you find your perfect horse. These are our prices and expect your trainer to add a 5, 10 or 15% commission onto these prices. Your trainer deserves to be paid for his/her time shopping for that perfect fit for you. We sell a lot of nice horses through trainers and want to make sure everyone understands the commission process.  | Kaskia Gold is a 16.1 1/2 hand 2004 registered Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse gelding. He is by Guaranteed Gold (TB) out of Thirsty Boot (QH) by Mr. Kaskaskia (TB). He is showing 3'6" with changes. Has gone over small cross country jumps and is fun to ride in the field. This fabulous horse has the movement and temperament to win on the A circuit.  | Justa Little Shady is very sadly outgrown. This has been a beloved pony since her owner was 10 years old and now she is 15 and grew. She is believed to be a Welsh/QH cross and stands 14.1. Shady has done everything from large pony hunters to 3'3" jumpers to schooling cross country at 3' - 3'3". She trail rides like a dream, rides bareback with a halter and lead rope, swims in the pond and is a kids best friend. Has foxhunted 2nd flight. Lead changes when asked.  | NZ Southern Spirit is a 2004 14.1 1/2 hand Arabian x Paint gelding he is by Madagascar out of Sashay Lady by Triple Motion. VPBA registered. Spirit was recently broke in Febraury 2009. He is extremely level headed and is calm and quiet. He loves kids and is used in all lessons, from beginners to advanced children. Super smart and willing, he is looking for a kid to love on him and turn him into the fancy pony hunter he wants to be. Currently jumping 2'6" - 2'9" at home and showing over 2'3", he should be ready to move up to green pony hunter in the fall or wait until next show season to break his green.
